Our Teams

We are proud to be able to provide rugby for players from18 years old, to seasoned campaigners at the tender age of 50!

We aim to participate in all major leagues and tournaments including the IRB Dubai 7s. Whilst we take our training and match play seiously a key ethos of all our players is too enjoy the game. To learn about our history and club values please click here.

Kit Shop

We have an extensive kit shop available for both players and supporters. It is located in the DHRFC Office on the Ground Floor of the Club House at 7he Sevens Ground. We only take cash on all items.

2011-12 Season

This season our senior teams our taking part in the following competitions:

Competition	Description
The Gulf Top Six	The Gulf Top Six is the region's pinnacle Cross Border Competition for the 2010/11 Season, similar to the old Arabian Gulf Premiership. It consists of 6 teams who will play each other twice - so each team will have 10 games each.
UAE Premiership	Gulf Rugby is authorised by the UAE Rugby Association to administer the UAE Rugby Premiership competition, which features the top 6 teams in the UAE and Muscat with each team playing each other once and the top two teams playing off in a final. The winner then meets the winner of the North Gulf Four Cross Border competition to challenge for the region's premier title of ARFU West Asia Club Champion in the last game of the season.
UAE Conference	This is a UAERA owned & sanctioned tournament. Home or away in the first half of the season with 4 finals for all 8 teams, followed by a 2 division Cup/Plate & Bowl/Jug) competition in the 2nd half of the season, with the top 4 and bottom 4 from the first half of the season divided into 2 separate mini leagues (teams 1-4 & Teams 5-8), followed again by 4 finals.
Women's Championship	The Women's Championship is a Sevens series and sees a total of seven rounds played throughout the region over the course of the season. Each event has an individual tournament winner with Championship points awarded for each team's final position in the tournament.
